Basic Membership:
Basic Membership is open to anyone who has completed at least one semester or has graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, supports LLAA’s mission, and remains a Basic LLAA Member in good standing. Basic Members in good standing will receive newsletters, emails and other general correspondence regarding LLAA’s activities.
Basic Members in good standing have:
(a) Completed and submitted a membership form;
(b) Updated their contact information as necessary; and
(c) Participated in a LLAA-sponsored activity, meeting or mailing at least once per year.
Basic Members are NOT able to:
(a) Vote in elections;
(b) Nominate or run for LLAA office; nor/or
(c) Receive discounts for LLAA events.
Regular Membership:
Regular Membership is open to any University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) alumni as defined by the University, who also support LLAA’s mission and who remain Regular LLAA Members in good standing.
Regular Members in good standing have:
(a) Completed and submitted a membership form;
(b) Updated their contact information as necessary;
(c) Participated in a LLAA-sponsored activity, meeting or mailing at least once per year; and
(d) Paid annual dues of $25 per LLAA fiscal year.
All Regular Members in good standing are entitled to:
- Vote for LLAA officers
- Run for LLAA office;
- Nominate LLAA candidates;
- Free admission to designated events;
- Discounted admission to fundraising events;
- Receive newsletter and updates regarding LLAA activities.
Associate Membership
Associate Membership is open to anyone who does not qualify as a Basic or Regular Member under these bylaws. Associate members may not vote in LLAA elections. However, they may participate in other LLAA activities.
Associate Members in good standing have:
(a) Completed and submitted a membership form;
(b) Updated their contact information as necessary;
(c) Participated in a LLAA-sponsored activity, meeting or mailing at least once per year; and
(d) Paid annual dues of $25 per LLAA fiscal year.
All Associate Members in good standing are entitled to:
(a) Free admission to designated events;
