IllinoisLLAA Scholarship Application

University of Illinois Latina/Latino Alumni Association (IllinoisLLAA) scholarship application is open to Latina/Latino undergraduate and graduate students enrolled full-time at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign during the 2022-2023 academic school year. Thanks to our generous donors, IllinoisLLAA is able to grant two, $2,500 scholarships.

The eligibility requirements are outlined in detail below.

Members of the IllinoisLLAA Scholarship Committee will review and score all completed applications.

The scholarship winner will be contacted directly by email in late April. Questions can be sent to Scholarship Chair, at scholarship@illinoisllaa.org.

ELIGIBILITY

1. Full-time enrollment as either an undergraduate or graduate student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) campus with at least one full-time semester completed at UIUC.

2. Cannot be first-semester student or past scholarship recipients. 

3. Must have a minimum cumulative 2.5/4.0 G.P.A. 

4. Must have Latina/Latino ancestry (at least one parent of Latina/Latino heritage).

Undocumented students, including DACA recipients, are encouraged to apply.
