Patricia is a Data Scientist and entrepreneur skilled in health data management, business intelligence, and machine learning. She is passionate about health equity and innovation.Patricia has extensive experience working in the healthcare sector from interning with the United Nations and the World Health Organization, to working for nonprofits, and research. Patricia works at Strata Decision Technology as a Decision Support Consultant where she implements healthcare software and cloud technology for hospitals across the country. Helping hospital systems make better decisions with their financial and clinical data. She is the current Director of Health and Wellness for the national board of directors office of Alpha Psi Lambda National, Inc, Co-Director of Programming for the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign’s Latina/o Alumni Association, and Corporate Partnership Lead for Latinas in Tech Chicago. As an entrepreneur, Patricia launched her business Guías in 2020. Guías is a coaching platform using data analytics integration to help clients connect with coaches and track their progress. Patricia was part of MATTER’s Bridge program, a mentorship program for underrepresented entrepreneurs to help address inequities in the healthcare entrepreneurial community. She was selected as a coach for SuperMajority Leaders. She was selected as a 2022 fellow for the Chicago Latino Caucus Foundation Leadership Academy. She completed Mujeres Latinas en Acción’s Empresarias del Futuro level I and level II cohorts where she earned two grants sponsored by AT&T to assist with start-up marketing costs. She was part of Chicago Innovation Women’s Mentoring Co-op and was selected as a finalist to compete for the Women’s 2022 Pitch Competition sponsored by TechRise. Patricia is a professional Latine dancer in Chicago and also enjoys gardening and volunteering for community gardens in underrepresented communities. |
